TX Tech has a flow chat for guidance on what can be taught in the university system. Two things:
1. Very little content seems to be permitted. This is partisan control of the curriculum.
2. I would not enjoy teaching under these conditions, but I really would not want to be a Chair or Dean.

A competent opposition party would call a presser and explain that while their party believes that voters should choose politicians and not the other way around, the Republican Supreme Court majority had previously said that extreme gerrymandering was legal if it was about partisanship but...

By situating the Times as nobly filling the space between the diametrically opposed wants of the “left” and the “right” and suggesting that all of these critiques are ideologically motivated and are equally valid (or invalid), this misses the point of much of the criticism of the paper’s coverage.

Northwestern’s leaders will likely try to justify their choice to appease fascist extortion with some BS about needing to help researchers get federal funds that were illegally withheld, so it’s important to note that virtually all of the researchers said not to.
So apparently the administrators at Northwestern have caved to the extortionist demands of the Feds. Faculty voted 595-4 AGAINST this measure.
