This quote reminds me of the "Teddy Bear Picnic" sketch on KitH: "so where were you if this picnic is a story?"

Raw Power by Iggy and the Stooges was released 53 years ago today and it changed my life. For me, it was the first album that sounded like what rock and roll should be. Hearing it, I suddenly felt less alone in the world.

I was in the entertainment feed, watching episode 44 of The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon and monitoring ambient audio for keywords in the unlikely event that a human said something important.

So, I know a lot of people really liked DEATH BY LIGHTENING, but given the current weather patterns I'd like to note a more particular case -- Death by Blizzard / Death by Snow --

Roscoe Conkling (played by Shea Whigham in DBL) DIED IN A BLIZZARD walking home from work in NYC.

Last night at 4 in the morning the end of December, my 4 year old got me out of bed. She couldn't sleep.

My first assumption is she also had "Famous Blue Raincoat" going through her head, as I often do this time of year.

(She did not.)

To be clear, it is the subject of the song that passed. Not any member of Le Tigre.

Saw them at the second Knitting Factory (on Leonard). Show was great.

The first moon phase watch was created by a werewolf who worked for Patek Philipe so that he could always know whether he was going to turn into a werewolf that night.

This is the only thing that makes sense.
