Ah, there's the rub. Trump (and his cronies) are firmly in the "The king's word is law" camp. Just like Nixon, they think if the President does it, then, by definition, it IS legal. Hence, DJT thinks he is INCAPABLE of issuing an illegal order, and any illegal order would be any one that defies HIM.
