Sailor, mushrooms, Vancouver island,
I like the way Carney fesses up to his "poor choice of words" when saying he didn't care about Trump. Note that he didn't deny the fact.

The whole point behind the Comey case was not to convict, but to silence. Those persons, who are less well connected than Comey or James, will be silenced. As they now know that some minor incident in their past could condemn them if they speak up. Or refuse "illegal" orders.

As I understand it, what the U.S. is saying to Russia is "You can have Ukraine, (and Europe) in exchange give me Venezuela (and North and South America)." No wonder everybody on the peripheral is scrambling.

Trump, if there is one thing you have done right. It is to be a catalyst for Canadians, who once again, can realise, how proud and lucky we are to live the home we call Canada.

Given that Canada, in all likelihood, will purchase the Grippen. Can we sell our purchase of the F35 to somebody else? U.K. (they are out of money) or the Saudi's (Israel will object). Anybody else??

What is becoming more obvious by the day is that the U.S. will be a big loser. Countries like Canada will seek to diversify away from reliance on the US as fast as possible. Both militarily aswell as commercially.

Canada looks pretty good in these cross country comparisons
NEW from me:

Political hostility, high visa fees and (in the case of the UK) stagnant incomes are making the UK and US less attractive destinations for top international talent.

That steep decline in the appeal of moving to the US after 2016 is 👀

Premier Wab Kinew and I want to see the Port of Churchill expansion project built — fast. Today in Winnipeg, I announced new funding to help get the project operationalised.

Canada has an abundance of resources, and this port expansion will mean we can ship more to the world.

Anybody who thinks that the full, unredacted Epstein files will ever be released. Please let me know who you are, I have a bridge to sell you.

I guess Mike Johnson’s latest excuse to block a vote on releasing the Epstein files is now over.

Will he come up with a new one or are we finally going to see where each House Republican stands on this?
