I write funny, informative stuff for a living. I'm a nature freak, bohemian and foodie living in Wiltshire, UK. Currently writing a funny trilogy combining sustainability, mythology and feminism. My author page on Amazon - https://amzn.to/3yDBYp2
And so the nastiness begins, but I can almost hear the England cricket fans saying: "Yeah, but at least he didn't cheat". 😁

It's bad enough receiving AI written spam stating how they will provide instant book sales for me.
Even worse when they send it to the wrong author. I haven't written a book on Rajneeshpuram (written by Russell King).
FYI I'm only ever 'Russell' when I'm in trouble! 😂

For about 8 years the dustpan and brush in our house has been hung on a hook in a cupboard. It's difficult to put it on the hook, even harder to get it off.
Today I changed the hook for a sticky-out screw, ridding our house of endless grumbles of "For fuck sake!".
It took less than a minute...

I have something to crow about!Second draft of book 1 of my new trilogy is done.
Just need to completely rewrite book 2 and update book 3 now!
I am loving incorporating understated back stories for the stars of book 3 in books 1 and 2.

I think we all know one of these!
Strange that the word 'fart' was used in the 17th century though. It really has lingered around like a bad smell.
Word of the Day is ‘catchfart’ (17th century): an obsequious individual who sucks up to the boss and always follows the political wind.

Don't worry about me. I'm just trying to force the words 'Jimmy Dean' and 'sausages' into my book title.
Maybe it will work better in the blurb?

I started expanding a character's back story into the plot and now it is magically anchoring to all the current events. Another example of this book writing itself.
I'm going to include mythological characters more often if they pitch in like this and help things along.

I love this. How would your family like you to be remembered? As a nude organist!
But doesn't it sum up Terry Jones' sense of fun? ☺️

It's the Fesshole/Vagina Museum crossover event you've all been waiting for. Tons of you tagged us into this across all of our socials, asking for a fact-check. The consensus of the reply guys is that it Didn't Happen. However, this is in fact very possible. Here's why...

Oh so true!
It used to be: How do you manage to think up new things to write?
Now it's: Do you use AI to think up new thinks to write?
The ideas are the easy bit. It's the selling that gives me the quicksand sinking feeling.

Wise words
I can’t make a living writing any type of media but the people who can’t afford to pay me to write the media can still make billions a year selling the media they can’t afford to pay me to write.

The end of an era. I've had this chair for about 20 years. I've spent a significant amount of my life in it, writing over a million words and communicating with fascinating people around the world (it's seen a fair few photos of other people's cats too...).

Where has this book been all my life?! A circular epic where levels of detail are added with each pass. Characters so real that I miss them desperately. And how the fuck have I fallen in love with a mule called Achilles?
