Because the risks are different, the most effective responses may differ too. For women, reducing intimate partner violence is a key priority.

For men, prevention is more often tied to crime, gangs, and violence among acquaintances or strangers.

We can see that for men, most of these murders were committed by friends, neighbors, acquaintances, or strangers (shown as “Other” in the chart) rather than a partner or family member. The opposite is true for women: intimate partners are the biggest threat.

American homicide victims are mostly men, except when the killer is an intimate partner—

Almost 20,000 Americans were murdered in 2023.

The chart shows the homicide rates among male and female victims. Men were 2.7 times more likely to die by homicide than women.

The beauty of the eternal victim status the West affords Israel is that Israel can turn any resistance to its crimes as proof of its victimhood.
It was obvious that eventually, Syrian locals would start fighting the Israelis forces which invaded their communities without provocation. It was equally obvious that Israel would use that armed resistance as a justification for maintaining and even expanding their occupation.
According to Syrian media, Israel accuses the Syrian government of having affiliations with the "militants" (Syrian locals) who resisted the Israeli raid on Beit Jinn

Those who study History cannot stress enough how often we see this incremental stripping of minorities' basic rights & the implementation of policies in which the endangerment to a group's wellbeing is normalised by the society around it.

This is evil. Children - babies - will suffer as a result.

And it goes on.

The man is completely unraveling.

Bombing boats, threatening invasions “to stop drugs,” and now promising a full pardon to a president convicted of trafficking 400 tons of cocaine into the U.S.

This isn’t law and order.

It’s the most lawless presidency in American history.👇
