I've got some new comics reviews up at The Village Voice!

www.villagevoice.com/a-trio-of-gr...
I named my fists Shields and Yarnell because I let them do my talking for me but they never say much.
I named my fists Troilus and Cressida because they're rarely produced, lackluster, and mostly just offer a lesson about the futility of violence.
i named my fists Rodgers and Hammerstein cuz theyre always in my own little corner

If the Venezuelan sailors were enemy combatants, then the 2nd strike is a war crime.

If the Venezuelan sailors weren’t enemy combatants, then both strikes are criminal murder.

It’s that simple.

Phenomenal idea!
Fund the reconstruction of the east wing by charging 5 bucks for people to swing a sledge hammer to knock the ballroom down

Okay now that it is seemingly confirmed via datamine stuff and not just folks posting on Twitter:

If/when Harry Potter stuff comes to Fortnite if you are still playing that game I Will Be Judging You. Fortnite is fun. I've enjoyed playing it over the years.

An HP collab is a Hard Out. Don't do it

“In a rare split with the Trump administration, GOP-led panels in the House and Senate say they want a full accounting in the September military attack.”

Hegseth appears to have crossed a line even the GOP can’t ignore.

Made a big pot of turkey stock today. Tomorrow: Gumbo!
Don't throw away that turkey carcass until you try this Cajun gumbo
In rural Louisiana, Cajun cooks add spicy sausage to Thanksgiving leftovers for a tasty, warming gumbo.

I just opened up the MUBI app and noticed that Robert Kolodney's THE FEATHERWEIGHT is now available there. I saw it a couple years ago at the NJ Film Festival at Rutgers, and was wowed. It's a terrific period-piece biopic. Highly recommended. 📽️

The BIG 3 to Say NO to are:
🎯Amazon 🎯Home Depot
🎯Target
LFG! Say no to ICE. Say no to merchants making money off of their atrocities. Say no to big corporations axing DEI.

Handing Hegseth over to The Hague is the moderate position.
Also recognize that this unambiguous use of the military to commit murder of helpless noncombatants as they fought for life is a direct reflection of the virulent white supremacy that has seized our government, where every Latino man is a gangbanger in a de facto state of war against White America

Been thinking about this for a day or so, and my best answer is HAIR. Fantastic music and irresistible choreography, and a story that shaped my soul since I first saw it in high school, and still lifts it every time I see it.

Killing is bad, and to that end I'd like to call attention to the dozens killed in small boats in the southern Caribbean by the Trump Administration and the estimated 600,000 who've died of preventable disease and starvation thanks to the administration's destruction of USAID.

In self-interest but also general interest, folks: Black Friday is coming up, and small publishers/independent creators will always be a better choice than megacorps.

When the sales drop, please remember that!

"a single person of this demographic may have committed a crime, therefore we must punish the entire demographic" is a policy response you may recognize from fascist governments dedicated to ethnic cleansing elsewhere.
It didn’t even take 6 hours.
