Disabled. Old. Terminally grumpy. Kind. I'm basically the best parts of Capaldi's Doctor in a body that's falling apart. Still a white cat on the Internet. I love to learn new things. TTRPGs, comics, Hallmark movies, weird stuff. He / Him.

60,000 is the *low end* estimate.
So, El Fasher looks like one of the worst single event atrocities to happen this century so far, but the evidence has come in such a trickle it seems to only now be getting verified
At least 60,000 murdered in Sudanese city, which resembles ‘a slaughterhouse’

“Why can’t you just it? It’s not that hard”

We’ve all heard this when we say “no” to a non disabled person.

They don’t understand why we’re saying no. They don’t understand that something “easy” to them could wreck us.

Please be kind when disabled people say “no”. We’re the experts in our bodies.

It’s Lady Scarlett Witch The Flerken MonkeyWhipTail’s sixth gotcha day. A meowling in the wet rain malnourished and sick kitty found its way into our lives and she has brought nothing but joy ever since. Here’s some of my fave pics of her from throughout the six years time we’ve loved her.

I am amazed at how much people struggle with the idea of dystopian fiction sometimes. The presentation of a fictional society does not equate to an endorsement of it. The entire point of a work can, in fact, be the exact opposite. It can be an examination of the *horror* of certain kinds of systems.

@tizzyent.bsky.social Do you only cover videos, or do you also deal with screenshots? I keep seeing $14.88 pop up lately in screen names, book prices, etc. I'm curious if you're interested in bringing attention to that sort of thing.

Hey Fans!!!

Where you spend your money on porn matters. Given that ManyVids is trying to "save sex workers" by forcing an unwanted "exit plan" upon us, it would mean a lot to all of us if you purchased our content from other clip sites/fan sites/websites!!!

I betchya Patrick O'Donovan would be shocked by to know that many have multiple accounts on just one social media service.

To illustrate: although I don't use any of them right now, there are about 7 accounts on twitter linked to e-mail addresses I control. On Bluesky? perhaps 3 or 4.

Requiring us to tie our contributions to just 1 identifier makes that much much harder.

This isn't a matter of anonymity, or even pseudonymity.

It's a matter of allowing for the opportunity of legal participation in society in the widest range of possibilities.

On the question of linking access to internet and internet usage to formal IDs, there's another point that the "pro" side seems either to forget or ignore: A great many of us want to maintain different personas in different contexts online and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

fwiw what i think this actually means is that president sundown had his schedule disrupted and got his adrenaline up for the rally tonight and now he’s having a dementia freakout
hard to say what the weirdest part is, but it might be the “most of whom i do not know”, which is, a) an absolutely bizarre thing to *mention* if true, b) even weirder if *actually true*
Every part of this is bonkers. The intro is bonkers. The transition to his health is bonkers. The mention that other presidents didn't need cognitive exams is bonkers. The claim that this screening test is somehow hard is bonkers. The idea that criticism of him is treason is bonkers. All of it.
