This is excellent news for several reasons: 1) Europe is demonstrating its expertise; 2) by freeing itself from dependence on the US on a critical issue for aid to Ukraine, Europe will be able to speak out more freely and assert its position.

This is excellent news for several reasons: 1) Europe is demonstrating its expertise; 2) by freeing itself from dependence on the US on a critical issue for aid to Ukraine, Europe will be able to speak out more freely and assert its position.
