Not really sure how much clearer Republicans can be about not wanting international tourism, but here you go. Yes, the World Cup is here. Yes, you can pay exorbitant prices to come here and see it. But we don’t want you here and you need to get out immediately.

NEW—US Park Police w/ DHS officers near DC are increasingly pulling over Black and brown men, leaving their work vans on the side of the parkway + immediately calling a local towing company to take them. Families who just lost their breadwinner are stuck with the bill.

Here’s a story for every national news outlet:

In N.C., churchgoers are literally running into the woods as federal agents descend on the property.

“Inside the church, women and children sobbed as they wondered whether their loved ones had been taken.”

This is getting a lot of attention in NC. Here in Durham, even the neighborhood forum is lighting up with indignation. When you have a space where bots don’t go, you don’t see the messages of support for this action that you do on X or FB.

It’s pretty simple.

When you do a huge armed midnight raid on an apartment building rounding up and terrorizing children and later find out there were no criminals there everyone involved resigns in shame and we have loud showy Congressional hearings.
