#PaBudget
Pennsylvania is 122 days into the FY without a budget, 2 million of our people are about to lose SNAP benefits, and this is what PA lawmakers are choosing to do today. A joke of a GOP caucus. #PAbudget

PA budget stalemate continues despite transit deal
Gov. Josh Shapiro says funding SEPTA removed a budget obstacle. The impasse moves toward a 3rd month anyway as PA Democrats and Republicans remain divided.

For the past five years, the state budget has flat funded these centers, which provide free services to over 27,000 survivors annually. Without an increase in the rape crisis line item in the #PABudget, they will be forced to cut services, staff, or close entirely. That is unacceptable.

Enough delay—Pennsylvanians deserve a #PAbudget now.

Our schools, childcare centers, county mental health providers and many more are at risk.

It’s time Senate Republicans pass a responsible budget that funds what matters in Pennsylvania.

The #PABudget shouldn't hinge on backroom drama. Skill games need fair regulation, not political gamesmanship. @pahousedems.com are focused on transparency, public safety, and new revenue to fund schools, not scoring points for lobbyists.
Inside the escalating feud between the Pa. Senate GOP and a skill games company
The spat comes as Republican leaders have sponsored legislation that would impose a 35% tax rate on skill games revenue and empower the state Gaming Control Board to regulate the industry.
