If white people were actually supreme, we’d have some evidence of that by now.

“climate alarmism”

Our children and grandchildren will spit on our memories for failing to stop these people.
An absolute bedrock institution for understanding how the planet works, just civilization-scaled vandalism by the most incurious morons on Earth

People GOTTA stop complaining about being critical and pushing on Democrats. Right now Republicans are trying to consolidate power for a fucking dictatorship. Democrats inability to say so as a bloc is inexcusable--and they can't, because they're more afraid of their corporate masters than us,

It’s happening NOW. What is the point of supporting a Democratic Party that doesn’t care about abolishing ICE and putting these Gestapo members in prison? We can’t just hope to eventually stop this, we have to reverse course entirely.
Armed ICE agents trapped US citizens in a restaurant and demanded their papers. Federal agents walked into East African restaurants in Cedar-Riverside, MN. They closed and blocked the doors. Then they demanded to see everyone’s papers. Every person present was a US citizen.

we can’t stop the guns if we can’t expand the court, which we can’t do if we don’t get rid of the filibuster, which most senate democrats are refusing to consider. if you want the gun violence to stop, something’s gotta change in this equation

It is important to promise, now, that whatever Trump builds at the White House will be torn down as soon as he leaves.

Dreamt I was at some weird small scale lunch and the Pope was there (but not Chicago Pope) and I failed to get a picture with him cuz I’m a bad son. Then he was rushed out because of some medical emergency, which was somehow used as pretext to force Maduro to step down.

You heard it here first.

I’ve heard from immigration attorneys that clients say ICE guards lay out the WRAP device (essentially a full-body straitjacket) on the tarmac as a threat — “do what we say or you’re getting the WRAP on the whole flight.”

And here’s proof, from Seattle livestream today via @lalabote.bsky.social.

Any Dem opposed to expanding the Supreme Court is helping to ensure the deaths of more of our kids.

This Supreme Court is irredeemably corrupt. Our first step must be expanding the number of seats to put these partisan hacks in the minority. Or more kids will die.

We must remember the Dems caved on the government shutdown to keep the filibuster in place (so they wouldn’t actually have to pass anything) and to let the ACA subsidies expire so they could run on promising to return them if given the majority in 2026. We don’t hate the Democrats enough.
When the Senate votes on rival, partisan health bills on Thursday, they’ll have two chances to address expiring COVID-era subsidies that will otherwise result in millions of Americans saddled with higher insurance costs in 2026.

But neither bill is expected to pass. https://to.pbs.org/4j0q4Z6
