if the discussions and calls I've been having lately are any indication, we're about to see significant renewed focus on developer communities. reality is setting in and companies are realizing AI is not a miracle; it's a tool, and tools are only valuable if and when people use them to build things

Travelling by train the other day and a woman on the platform at Highbury & Islington bowed reverentially to me. Nonplussed but wishing to be polite, I bowed reverentially back.

Reader, she was attempting to check the partially obscured arrivals board behind me.

💀
God I miss the days when we got out our protractors to check if the LOTO had bowed respectfully enough

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

If Labour wants an easy win, all it has to do is enforce a ban on sitting MPs having more than two jobs or hosting TV shows.

The measure would be universally popular, Farage would resign his seat immediately (he’s only in politics for the money) and Reform would promptly implode.
Farage, who was paid £189,000 in January to promote gold bullion in his spare time, is currently wanging on about how out of touch the Labour frontbench is. Ok
