I just published a Fastify plugin to render Svelte CSR or SSR with/without hydration. It's not feature complete but does work quite well already. Feel free to give it a try or send feedback.

On @netlify.com, 4/5 CVEs have minimal impact, as a malicious request "crashing" does not affect other requests on our autoscaling serverless architecture. However, cold starts and function costs could increase.

As always, we strongly recommend upgrading!

The new Web Almanac is out. 🎉

If you don't know the Web Almanac, it's pretty much a summary and analysis of the state of the web based on real data from the HTTP Archive.

As a yearly tradition, I'll go over it and highlight/comment on the things that stand out. Let's go! 🧵
The 2025 Web Almanac by HTTP Archive has been officially released! 🚀

We would like to thank all of our contributors from around the globe who made this extensive report possible!

Huge props to the @svelte.dev team for an exceptionally well-handled vulnerability process, despite my terrible timing of reporting the devalue issues just before New Year’s Eve 🙂

Fun fact: I found it via a Google search which led me to a Reddit response from @techniq.dev.
So we see again and again how important it is for maintainers (and their allies) to be spreading the word on Reddit www.reddit.com/r/sveltejs/c...

I needed a portal / teleport feature which works with Svelte 5
Luckily, you can always count on @techniq.dev because LayerChart / Svelte UX / LayerStack has about every single utility, helper, action you can imagine 🤯. Here's the portal for Svelte 5: next.layerstack.dev/docs/svelte-...

Interesting - I just joined a new team where I’m back to Svelte 3/4 SPA + Java/SpringBoot.
Goal is to migrate the frontend to Svelte 5 + SvelteKit.

I already have khakis (in different colors).
