Unlike The Wire (the Great American Novel of our time, imo) which starts out incredible but becomes deeper, more nuanced and more universal with each episode of every season.

I think it’s a matter of focus: SvelteKit provides a complete client-side solution via Svelte (state management, animation, templating), whereas Rails is choose your own adventure

As a Svelte user I’ve become unused to needing to think too hard about what the implementation looks like: the convention (which is functionally identical to your preferred approach) pretty much removes any debate

I haven’t worked with React in a long time, so other than using a for loop (or a map) to avoid needing to access elements by index, I think this is probably the approach I would take too…
