I love these little guys so much. The other night I watched one of these cutie patooties chowing down on acorns that the white oak tree had dropped this fall all over my back yard.
So many acorns!

Going to war with our NATO allies probably isn’t going to happen, but seeing smarmy fucks like this fantasizing about how easy and cool it would be to spill the blood of our NATO allies helps strain the bonds of our international relationships in ways that can’t be mended for generations.
Rep. Greg Steube: "You see Macron and the French sending troops to Greenland. I would love to see the US military up against French troops in Greenland, because it would not last very long. It would be a very small skirmish ... we don't care about what Macron and the French want."

It is funny that the current FBI director treats the job like it's a trip to Entourage Disneyland, but bear in mind that for us this is probably the best possible outcome. I do not want Trump's FBI director to actually care about the job

People keep trying to diagnose Trump based on the wine-colored stain on his hand without considering the obvious answer. (It is a metaphorical representation of his sin he cannot scrub out no matter how hard he tries.)

I'm not super smart but I'm curious if it would help the Democrats numbers to take a stance against one or more of the following:

*Madness
*Nazism
*Pedophilia
*Monarchy
Every poll these days is like:

- Mad Nazi Pedophile King: 39%

- The Democrats: 42%

They are lawless by choice. A state sanctioned gang.
🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

MLK was only 39 when he was killed. Growing up, I thought that was old. But I’m 43 now and I’m stunned by the burden he shouldered at such a young age. I’m also a lot more aware of how hard it is, at any age, to carry the hopes and dreams of an oppressed people on your shoulders, as so many do.

Riffing on this a bit, the biggest most fundamental failing of the Democrat establishment is that they agree with Republicans on the narrative framing of issues. They agree that illegal immigration is destroying the country, that trans women are men, etc. They just think we should be nicer.
Somebody the other day arguing that [paraphrased] "it's important to agree with the right wing that certain of their concerns are valid, because we're losing the rhetorical battle" —no, if we're losing, it's because so-called friends keep validating fascist concerns. "We" who, motherfucker?
