This is a total stab in the dark for my #phillies fan friends out there.

Ages ago (15+ years) the Phils sold this Phanatic ornament. My brother and his family had one they loved, but lost along with everything else in the CA fires last year. I can't find one anywhere online.

Anyone have any leads?

I bet the average American probably barely even hears about them, honestly.
To average Americans these rulings come out of the blue, because there's no oral argument and less focus on the shadow docket. And when the Court fails to explain its emergency rulings, they undermine their own legitimacy because they appear to be acting in an unprincipled way.

There’s just no choice anymore. There should be zero Republican House reps from blue states. None.
the democratic response to this must be, in the words of @dennycarter.bsky.social, to go goblin mode on redistricting in the states where they have a trifecta. eliminate every republican district in those states.
This isn't a Supreme Court, it's just six Republican operatives imposing law on the rest of us in order to help Trump and MAGA destroy the Constitution and impose authoritarian rule.

How did "mystifies" end up the word they used for this?
Top Plays of 2025: No. 7

Denzel Clarke mystifies the baseball world with one of the most impressive home run robberies you will ever see!

Absolutely correct take.
I know he falls short in terms of longevity and career totals, but I keep coming back to this thought about this year's Hall of Fame Contemporary Era ballot:

Fernando Valenzuela's story -- between his early dominance and the cultural impact of Fernandomania -- is worthy of a plaque in Cooperstown.

Making an alternate, less interesting City Connect for road games is...a choice I suppose.
Brewers unveil their new alternate road uniform. They won’t be wearing road grays at all next year

Completely untethered from reality.
Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

Why, one might ask, does the American Right adopt aesthetics & forms of fascism if American socialism is so nascent? Here you go:

"in the right wing imagination there is a strong threatening socialism in the United States, it’s just what they call any manifestation of basic, multi-racial democracy"

My contribution to the dating discourse is that I met my fiancée ~2 years ago because I decided to help teach curling for my league's rookie program. Both of us had given up on ever finding somebody and deleted the apps from our phones shortly before signing up.

Spotify is garbage on every count: Its treatment of artists, its ICE advertising, the CEO's investment in military AI, its leading role in the commodification and AI slopification of music, its terrible audio quality—you name it.

So I quit, and put together a complete guide to getting off Spotify:

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.

Also, moving to Apple Music is trivial. They have built-in tools to import everything from Spotify/Tidal/etc. (Tidal also has links to third-party stuff that makes it pretty easy as well.)
No streaming service is perfect, but you can absolutely do better than Spotify.

Paid to know about but also things that were explained to them directly before the question was asked. And nobody seems to care!
Sen. Roger Marshall, on MS NOW, says he doesn't know the "details" and can't comment on Trump's pardon of a former Honduran leader who was convicted of major drug trafficking. That's the go-to move by GOP lawmakers these days: ignorance of things that they're being paid to know about.

There is such a thirst in some progressive centrist circles that they will look at the Trump administration as a model to get things done. I think its worth addressing the argument. This is from Mark Dunkelman, author of the widely praised "Why Nothing Works."
