Connor Lamb? Malcolm Kenyatta? Madeliene Dean? I know you have my # and my phone is strangely quiet . . .
Go volunteer for a progressive launching a “hopeless” campaign against an extremely entrenched incumbent currently squatting in a safe Blue seat. The worst thing that happens, is that you drag the incumbent to the Left. Best case? Zohran Mamdani, who was polling at 6% in January.

i think an especially depressing part of this whole saga is that "we need to win primaries so establishment dems are replaced by true progressives" is a thing we've done before but one of the progressives we worked hard to install over the establishment pick was fetterman

Maybe important to note it was the disruption in air travel that Democrats couldn't stand and not, you know, 40+ million people not knowing where their next meal was coming from.

I don't think it's cowardice. I think that they are OK with what the GOP is doing. The sooner folks reconcile with this, the better.

Just yesterday I made plans with my family to drive and collect the college kid (and get her back), what are we doing here.
Senate Democrats voting to dismantle the ACA to avoid any problems with their Thanksgiving travel is tragically on brand.

Absolutely insane goal in insane conditions in the CPL final. Absurd.

Unfortunately my D Senator is King Cave here, please call yours if you think there's a shot of changing someone's mind! (Also, Connor Lamb, tonight is a great night to start your PA senate campaign)
I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

this nostalgia is enabled in large part by just...erasing the experience of anyone but affluent cishet white men.
People wildly overestimate the economic security experienced by past generations. There's no period in American history where significant numbers of young people were just handed high paying jobs. Nostalgia for a time that never existed is a huge problem.
Why Nikki Haley’s son went radical: His generation inherited insecurity.

I profile Nalin Haley, a fascinating young man, who I believe will likely play an important role in conservative politics in years to come.

Manfred being in clubhouses to push the owners' collective bargaining case always seemed problematic to me, even if it was not illegal. But him being in clubhouses to push the owners' collective bargaining case and having his flunky make death threats to union members seems over the line, ya know?
These new details from last summer's confrontation between Rob Manfred and Bryce Harper are absolutely insane.

MLB officials threatening players will "end up in a ditch" for disrespecting Manfred is outrageous behavior.

“Sunrise Rosé”

I don’t always wake up for sunrise, but when I do, I make it count.

Took this a few years back during springtime.

Trump want to make a one time payment of 400 bucks, then cancel your insurance. You can use that money to make a downpayment on your coffin.
Trump: "I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE."

Trump suing to starve people, Philly mentioned!
We've given "what if we made the whole political party out of Ben Simmons in the playoffs" an uncontested dunk. Let's watch:
The easiest political layup for Democrats in recent memory. That’s even compared to a lot of other easy layups.

We use computer pads now in Philly, so people have to sign with a stylus or their finger. They always say "that looks nothing like my signature" and then I show them when it pulls up how they signed in pen -- its uncanny how similar they all are! But ITA, crap, just an excuse to discount.
Signature matching is junk science that has been used to disenfranchise lawful voters. It’s shameful that Democratic controlled states still use this. Voters should not have to spend time correcting the states mistakes or risk having their legal votes tossed out.
Maybe you forgot to sign your ballot, or your signature didn't quite match the one on record. If you received a signature challenge letter and have questions, we have a web page for that.

Folks who need to resolve a signature challenge have until 4:30 pm on November 24.

I know he doesn't GAF about reality, but is there someone we can send our grocery receipts to? Gotta think a congressional office full of receipts would be newsworthy? A box of cereal was not $6 a year ago!
Trump: "The reason I don't want to talk about affordability is because everybody knows it's far less expensive under Trump than it was under Sleepy Joe Biden and the prices are way down."

Love this.
If democrats had any courage they’d open every negotiation with “how zealously we prosecute you in a few years relates directly to your actions in this room today” and let them walk out in a spell as many times as they need to
