Local paper followed up w/3 citizens picked up by ICE in #Evanston Friday. They drove them around in cuffs for hours looking for "a place that's not hot" with whistles, finally dropping at FBI office, who just released them--no charges, photos, prints. One got herself home on Metra without shoes.

the problem with this joke and target audience is they will reply to explain why it actually is special ed from a budgetary and regulatory standpoint
what if they lied to us and there never was a gifted and talented program and we were all actually in special ed the whole time
the thing about "former gifted kid" discourse is that some of us never stopped being gifted and talented and better than everyone else so it's hard to deal with all of these burnt-out losers trying to cling to our coattails of success talking about how hard their lives are for being worse than us.
