Amongst all the cries of "you've had your Referendum Scotland" I'm not hearing the same from opponents of a second Brexit vote. But then of course there'll be no comparison 🙄
"People gave their verdict then, we don't need another one."

Asked how long a generation was, the chancellor said: "Certainly not 12 years."

So we're not a union of equals after all 🙄

No independence referendum if SNP wins majority, Reeves says
The chancellor has refused to support a second vote if the SNP wins a majority of seats in May.

Rachel Reece’s said she is freezing Russian assets, but not Nigel Farage’s.

Whilst she meant it as a joke perhaps she should actually look a bit more closely at his finances. 😉

The UK, where the day after a decision to take half a million children out of poverty, the media & political world has been full of sneering at those same children & their families, labelling them as ‘Benefits Street’, while the same people are moaning about a tax on £2m mansions. Shameful stuff.

Seen a couple of interviewers today being pretty forthright with Starmer. If only they had done it with the tories then things would never have gotten so bad as the public would have been better informed. They were complicit in the total heist of the UK by a long list of Tory chancers

Rachel Reeves on #C4News saying Labour are now lifting 450,000 children out of poverty by removing the two child benefit cap

So an admission that Labour kept 450,000 children in poverty for the past year because they didn't care enough about child poverty to lift them out of it last year

Quick analysis of The Times today:
Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform.
Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

Interesting! What we're seeing with all this new data is that the Brexit damage is only getting worse as time goes on. Companies aren't "adjusting", they're either leaving, downscaling or going under. From manufacturing to services to culture to farming and fishing, the decline is snowballing.
