It is good that we have our modern Churchill/Attlee in President Zelensky. He has led his country to become the first line of defence against Fascism. We in the Daily Herald, the Labour party, and in Britain, will continue to support him in the face of Russia aggression.

Labour didLabour’s migration plan isn’t anti-immigrant—it’s pro-growth and fairness. Managed migration fills skills gaps, boosts GDP, and stops exploitation. Controlling borders ≠ closing them—it’s about making migration work for Britain.

Why call that racist?

Radical reforms to reduce migration
Britain's failed immigration system will be radically reformed so the system is controlled, managed and fair under a landmark white paper.

Did you read any of the posts sent? Can you keep up? Would you trust the "no pylon", "no growth" Greens to fix the economy?

Labour invested £326bn in public services, green energy, housing, the NHS, Education, transport. This will help economic growth. Do you support this?
dailyherald.bsky.social
What are you talking about? You realise Zach Polanski's Greens, the party you support according to your timeline, are now populists?

Labour are taking the fight to Reform, reclaiming the flag, attacking their racist ILR policies, pointing out Farage's Brexit lies, etc.
dailyherald.bsky.social
Well your making all Reform's arguments for them.

You say on your timeline you support the Greens. Are you aware their deputy leader (Mothin Ali) is a racist? Are you aware he supported October 7th and caused a Rabbi to go into hiding? Do you support this?

False claims have been made about Labour's actions on Israel and Palestine Action in comments to our posts.

Labour have fought for peace since Oct 7th. While the police have been heavy handed, Palestine Action are terrorists, and people should not support terrorism.

Here are the facts:

PR does not give the people the vote. In most PR systems most politicians are appointed by parties, not by the electorate, making politicians less representative of the people. In addition, they often have to make coalitions which go against what people voted for.

Do you want unelected politicians?

Restricting the pension tax relief to the basic rate raises £14.5bn a year

Recreating an investment income surcharge system in the UK brings in £18bn a year.

Here are £197bn of wealth taxes that can be levied:

Do you disagree with all these taxes on wealth?
taxingwealth.uk
dailyherald.bsky.social
Increasing the bank levy and the bank surcharge, will raise £2.4bn a year.

Extending the freeze on personal tax thresholds including national insurance contributions (NICs) further could raise £10.4bn a year.

Why not make these changes?
dailyherald.bsky.social
Rubbish - the government can increase any tax they want but all will have effects. You can also create new taxes.

Ending CGT relief on death raises £2.3bn a year

Removing £175k IHT allowance for spouses raises £6bn a year

Why not tax wealth not income?

@horseshoepartyuk.bsky.social, here are Labour's achievements:

This government is nationalising the railways (to be completed by 2027) and British Steel, allowed for locally owned buses, created GB Energy, the National Wealth Fund, and created the National Housing Bank.

Why were you kicked out?

There was probably a good reason.

Did you promote racism, antisemitism, or other hate? Support rival parties? leaking confidential info? corruption? bullying? harassment? fraud? or other criminal convictions?

Starmer said "attacks against Britain’s Muslims are attacks against all Britons and this country itself" and "Anti-Muslim hatred has no place in Britain"

The attack would also need evidence of planning, coordination, or links to organized terrorist groups to be considered terrorism.

Do you want to undermine laws on terrorism and put muslim people at risk?
dailyherald.bsky.social
Starmer said "attacks against Britain’s Muslims are attacks against all Britons".

It was not considered terrorism as it did not have a broader political agenda beyond expressing hate towards a religious group.

Why are you undermining policing in this case?
