It was probably the network card and my network card is built into the board. I'm supposed to find out today.
Ugh. Pricey and incredibly inconvenient.

There was a power flicker. My computer stopped connecting to the Internet.
Spent an hour with tech support. Have one last thing to try (waiting on an Ethernet cable delivery) and if it isn't that, something happened to my computer physically and I'll have to take into the shop.
UGH!

Human brains produce new ideas every second of every day. Sit down with a tiny child and ask them to explain something they're doing and you will hear half a dozen of them. Ideas are what humans *do*. The idea is by far the easiest part of any creative process.
But the point (there is a point) is, people fetishise the idea over the hard work of plotting and character development and research and internal consistency and just writing the fucker, because the Idea is the sparkly magic bit.
And this is what makes them put value in the AI prompt.

I know a lot of people like fine nibs, but I really enjoy how a broad nib feels as it glides across the page. Plus, I find they are nicer when you're working with shimmer inks.

Planted fall bulbs, saved some heritage seeds (marrow, a type of bell pepper I forget the name of, Mennonite stuffing peppers, and early Annie tomatoes), made bread, and made a big batch of French Canadian pea soup.
Plus I got a lot of Civ time with my spouse.
