I got hungry while looking at social media yesterday. So I went to the grocery store and bought:
- a roasted chicken
- boxed scalloped potatoes
- boxed stuffing
And then made peas and a salad.

There's also Hoopla which works the same way. I like it better than Libby because there are no holds. You get it the second you borrow it.
Plus, it has more digital media than Libby.
The only drawback is that you're limited to 5 borrows a month. Bit between the two apps, you're golden.

There's an app called Libby that lets you punch in the info on your library cards, and will then give you centralized access to all of that based on which libraries you have a card with, so you aren't even limited to just what you live near any more

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

It was probably the network card and my network card is built into the board. I'm supposed to find out today.
Ugh. Pricey and incredibly inconvenient.

There was a power flicker. My computer stopped connecting to the Internet.
Spent an hour with tech support. Have one last thing to try (waiting on an Ethernet cable delivery) and if it isn't that, something happened to my computer physically and I'll have to take into the shop.
UGH!
