I want to emphasize that at this time the unconfirmed reports that President Trump has both arms stuck "elbow deep" in the airplane toilet are just that. We will be monitoring this story. Please be responsible about spreading news that both his arms are "as far as they can go" into the toilet hole.

I was talking to another mom (in a different large city) about bus stuff and it made me look this paper up again. It's a helpful reminder that when you think of transit has a trip from one place to another you sometimes leave out the why and how of transit use.

Interesting: In a new filing to the National Capital Planning Commission, D.C. and the Commanders indicate that two parking decks (G1 and G2) will open when the stadium does in 2030. Initial plans called for a third, but it's not included at this point. You can see the scale of the parking decks.

A year ago Trump ordered that federal funds be cut off to states that don't assist in immigration enforcement, and last spring DOT tried to cut off transportation funds to sanctuary states. Twenty states sued and won a permanent injunction, and the Trump administration just dropped its appeal.

The reason these folks have forever wanted regulators to stop considering the dollar value of the human cost of air pollution is simple: air pollution is deadly and makes people sicker, and when you put a dollar value on people not getting sick and dying, it’s a high value, that many companies hate.
