A lot of people with evangelical childhoods, myself included, can likely attest: there is a widespread and fundamental belief in the supersession of religious law over existing "earthly" statutes, including basic moral principles, amongst many Christian sects, and it's as violent as you think it is.
im not even exaggerating when i tell you i truly do believe my book does a lot to clarify the social agenda, motivations and vast goals of a big swathe of the current admin's people, and their lawlessness. (they see themselves as answering to god's law, not man's.)

Discovery is Star Trek. Whether you like it or not. Just because it isn't the same style doesn't mean it's bad. Star Trek preaches diversity and strength through infinite combinations therein. Why can't the shows be diverse too?
