I would genuinely prefer this angle if it were less of a vehicle for Hook, it doesn’t give “Joe is a mastermind” it gives “if it was hard to get the world title that wouldn’t have worked so I guess the world title is easy to get” #aewdynamite

the last thing i’ll say about the hanger title discourse is i don’t think people are upset that he wasn’t champion for 3 years or mad because he should never lose. they just wanted a story while he was champion before the loss that was as compelling as the ones told when he’s chasing the title.
