We got the four little guys from last week— their mom was not interested in coming & we lost the light & then were battling the rain, so we’ll be back for her. These guys are weaned & were plenty hungry so it’s likely she’s deemed her job just about over. All nice & round though! Good job, mama!

honestly, hiring erin was worth every cent and more. it's such a relief to know everything i put on paper was true (and she caught lots of the inevitable mistakes that pile up over tens of thousands of words)!
Anyway most books you read ARE NOT FACT CHECKED. Publishers will not pay for fact checkers. An author must take it upon themselves and pay out of pocket.
Which is why folks like @annaleen.bsky.social and @swordsjew.bsky.social who have hired me to fact check their books should be celebrated.
