“Structural ignorance.” Yes.
Public health depends on citizens accepting scientifically-grounded guidance. When official institutions produce politically-determined science and independent verification infrastructure is eliminated, the capacity for evidence-based health policy collapses, writes Renée DiResta.

It's terrible, but unsurprising, that the right wing Heritage Foundation asked the body which administers US war graves to remove a memorial in the Netherlands to black US soldiers. It's hopeful, however, that this has provoked protest from across almost all the political spectrum in the Netherlands
1/ Eleven Dutch parties across the political spectrum from socialist to conservative have issued a joint appeal to a provincial government to build a memorial to Black American soldiers who died in World War II, to replace one removed from the Netherlands American Cemetery. ⬇️

So cool! Prince *loved* libraries. For example, this is one donation he made from his charity a few days after 9/11 to save the Louisville Free Public Library, the first library in the community to serve African Americans.

I also think it's worth contacting your Senator if they are not on this list. Let them know you'll be pissed so they might up the pressure on these assholes. They probably don't have a lot of leverage but who knows

Good summary of the plan.
Johnson: If we lose the majority… They will try to end the Trump administration. He won't have 4 years. He'll have only 2, because they will move to impeach him, probably on the first day of the new Congress in January 2027 and try to systematically unwind all the important reforms that we've done."
