Happiness is *eating (*sigh* DYAC) tator tots along with chili (that I threw a good amount of veg into), topped with freshly shredded cheddar - and I threw on some sliced scallions too.

The cranberries were way dirtier than I expected 😱😱😱 I ~washed them 4x before I was satisfied. And while doing so I was thinking “omg what if/about the people who don’t wash their produce? Yikes.”
Granted I even rinse lettuces etc that say on the bag that they’re pre-washed. Better safe than sorry.

😒 I actually generally don’t mind sharing things - but what bothers me is when people just take without asking.
Which my mom excels at. Probably I’m extra salty cuz I noticed a few days ago all the various types of carpet cleaner I’ve bought (at least 3) have all “disappeared.” Now it’s my groceries

National parks have SO MANY people from other countries (since they get real vacations!)

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.
