Genre screenwriter. I love cinematic gore but real blood makes me woozy. First name rhymes with “scare ‘em.” (he/him)
The more I see companies using AI for their ads, the more I know how much I’ll be pissed off when this “free” or “cheap” method starts inevitably costing more than they could have just paid human artists.

Post-Thanksgiving cheese spread. You might think this is for 12 people, but it is in fact just for my wife and me…

Thinking about the journeys of Bilbo vs. Frodo and how they mirror something we’re all experiencing now. Bilbo works as an analog for the “greatest generation,” or the people who fought fascism and evil directly in open war. Frodo’s fight feels closer to ours 🧵

Hey #filmsky and #scriptsky, what are some of your Perfect Movies? Ones you love, but also that you can’t find fault with? I think mine would be Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, and The Fellowship of the Ring. Weigh in!

Some strong synergy between these two blockbusters, released less than a year apart. Both are directed by low-budget horror icons who demonstrated an insane ability to take on huge action movies. Best in their class. #filmsky

One of the reasons why EYES WIDE SHUT has become such an unlikely Christmas movie is that it’s basically the IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE of fucking. www.vulture.com/2019/06/eyes...

What’s everyone watching? I started the day with Spider-Man, to be followed by The Fellowship of the Ring. #filmsky

I've spent a lot of holidays on my own. And I've definitely been the guy who had to work while all my fellow employees have been off with their families. So if you're working or alone this holiday, much love to you. May the day treat you well, pass quickly, and be devoid of assholes. Love you guys.

Just watched The Royal Tenenbaums for the first time in maybe 7 years. Probably the most important movie for me in developing my taste as an adult. It was cool to see how far Wes Anderson has come as an artist, but also how everything was all there from the beginning. There are shades of…

DEATH BY LIGHTNING is perfect for those of us who love LINCOLN and respond to cool dudes with cool beards #filmsky
Since Nov. 19 was the birthday of United States president James Garfield, I'd like to mention to everyone that Netflix has a first-rate miniseries about him and about his assassin.

Seriously excellent stuff.

(Though I think it's a little unfair to Chester A. Arthur)
