Really, really recommend that Minnesotans in particular disable autoplay, I know it's annoying to have to click to see a GIF but it's not worth the mental health costs of seeing the first seconds (before you scroll by) of murders in our city over and over and over.
to turn off autoplaying video on the bluesky mobile app

select the icon in the top left corner

go to settings

go to content and media

make sure "autoplay videos and gifs" is toggled off

Selling dodgy contracts that compromise national security: Palantir Starmer

Funny how Starmer was all like oh yes we must support protestors in Iran
Two women face trial in May over a protest that placed body bags outside David Lammy's home. The BBC report fails to mention these were child sized and clearly referred to the government's indifference to the massacre of children in Gaza. This is "harassment" apparently www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Just heard an AI ethicist talk about how important it is that we say ‘MEN are using Grok to undress images of babies, children and women’ not ‘Grok is….’. Grok isn’t responsible for the action, the men enabling & using it for this repulsive purpose are. Small but important bit of linguistic accuracy

Spray paint a plane and they'll detain you without trial and call you a terrorist.

Kidnap a foreign head of state - and Keir Starmer will make it clear we've played no part in it but will wait for the scheduled press conference in a few hours before potentially condemning it

The reason that some men think AI can “apologize” is because they don’t see actually feeling sorry they did the thing in the first place as important. Pay attention to who is telling on themselves here.

I’m Increasingly convinced Zarah’s got brain worms from spending too long in the Labour Party. Why else would she insist on attacking the Greens at every opportunity rather than seeking to work together?

the commentary class of this country put starmer in power.

he's unpopular bcos he's doing what THEY want.

this causes dissonance bcos the hatred the public have for starmer is a reflection of the hatred the public have for them.

it's not a mystery: starmer is a prick.

it's just such a mystery. i mean he's a decent guy doing a difficult job trying to clear up 14 years of tory mess. i know he has no charisma but he's rolled up his sleeves and he's working hard. you know what it is? it's the media. which im not a part of. they just won't give him a chance.

C4’s reporter this eve described the Bondi attack as “unfathomably evil” which, yes, but it strikes me as odd me that we never heard the British press use language even close to that when talking about the deliberate murder of thousands of children committed with the backing of our government.

What happened in Bondi is appalling, and the same thing happened the day before, the day itself, the day after and the day after that in Gaza, and that's not even reported at all anymore because genocide has been rebranded as 'ceasefire.'
