Dems can't do right in the eyes of bluesky shit posters. They can only be blamed for Republicans doing bad things. It's the mom and dad theory all over again. "Why won't Dems wave a wand and stop all of this." Because you gave Trump, the senate and the house. That's why.
It’s funny to me how it does not occur to this class of poster that maybe the reason they’re doing so poorly is party bc of efforts by the opposition?

The thing is none of that matters. As 2024 showed, Americans didn't and never cared. Dude was convicted of raping a woman. 77 million Americans voted for him. No trial was preventing this. Only Americans at the ballot box and they failed.
The Biden theory of everything was that talking about anything from the Trump Administration would only make it harder for the country to move past it & get back to normal. It could not have failed more dramatically.
I get why the Trump DOJ would bury a letter from one convicted child molester to another describing Trump as a fellow traveler.

But Epstein’s suicide was in 2019, which means that it was Biden’s DOJ that sat on this for most of the time, while conspiracy theories raged.

Presidents and government departments not releasing information for political reasons is good actually. I don't think we should be blaming Dems for governing functionally and ethnically. That's how healthy democracies are suppose to work.

Speaking to the middle class? The middle class chose the guy who told them he would take away their healthcare and kidnap their neighbors, cut of aid programs to countries in need. Americans knew exactly who Trump was and wanted him and his ideas back in office. Their hands are as dirty as anyone.
You know what? Kamala didn't win, because she was a shitty candidate who preferred rubbing elbows with billionaires instead of speaking to the middle class.

Pretty sick and tired of you people whining about something that was never going to happen.

All I'm saying is: Go do something productive.
All I’m saying is that if Kamala Harris had won, we could afford groceries and health insurance, we wouldn’t be arresting people simply because they’re Black or Brown, and we wouldn’t be doing batcrap crazy stuff like threatening Greenland
December 23, 2025 at 2:17 PM
She didn't win because Americans preferred the demented white guy and cleary wanted to be stripped of their healthcare simce the guy who won said he would do that. Congratulations, you played yourself.

Banning TikTok still is good politics for Dems. It's an app that just like X has become right-wing and has done likely more damage than x in making more young people more likey to view the right-wing favorablity. Problem is, Trump changes his minds whenever it benefits him. He hated it in 2020.
US Dems including Biden rallying behind the TikTok ban cuz they thought xenophobia and national security hawkishness was "good politics" was arguably the most embarrassing unforced error of any Democratic administration in recent history.
The US TikTok sale has been signed. The company will be controlled by a joint venture including Oracle, Silver Lake, Andreessen Horowitz, Abu Dhabi-based MGX. Adding a UAE company really makes it clear that this was never about national security concerns.

This comment is disingenuous at best. There are real concerns with Tiktok being affiliated with the CCP that make it more than just moral panic and seeing how my age group leaned more towards Trump in 2024 then any Republican ever, the app was already controlled and owned by the right wing.

They never say how Joe Biden failed on the border. So we as Dems don't want immigrants coming into the country, because the opposite of Joe Biden "failure" would be Trump. Which to James appears to be a successful.
“Joe Biden failed us on the southern border…And that failure by Joe Biden paved the way for Donald Trump to come in, masked men in unmarked vehicles, secret police tearing parents from their children, kidnapping people off the street.”

Listen to the full answer on X. Excellent

What's the political reason for Indiana Republicans being against it.? They're not just bucking Trump to buck him, they're must a political disadvantage they see for themselves uf they had went through with it.
Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!

Most Dems won't hesitate to sign onto good policy. If this was a Dem it wouldn't likely have the same support as any Dem legislation would be thrown down for partisan reasons. Dems are more likely to engage in bipartisanship.
Why do centrist/progressives keep letting conservatives beat them to insanely popular policies targeting big companies?

It's wild.

You need an enemy to win elections and global megacorps are clear enemies both in reality and the public imagination.

To anyone living in D.C, where would you point a young man in the direction of some holiday volunteer work? Don't have any money as a college student, but that doesn't mean I can't do some good.

Brookland Grill here in D.C is becoming my new favorite place to get comfort food. Only downside is they close at 4pm, which is pretty early.

It's exactly like those leftists who complained about Biden not doing enough for student loans despite him finding loopholes around the Supreme Court. Now, they got Trump who is telling them to pay every penny back.
The people in the replies to this post show that they do not at all care about the lives of Gazans, it's only ever been about Hating Democrats.
More people are dying in Gaza this year that Trump is president than last year when Biden was president yet people are regularly in my comments upset at Kamala Harris who lost the election while acting like Gaza is now a vacation destination under Trump.

Like MAGA impervious to facts or rationality

There is no point in arguing with the same people who complained about not getting vegan eating options at a college sit in. The ones on bluesky are another shade of privilege.
Listen, this argument would be credible if those people opted out of voting because they believe both parties harm Muslim interests.

Voting for the party that visibly supports Israel more and hates Muslims more is illogical decision making.

Blaming Democrats afterwards is just plain stupid.

Agree compleltey with the OP. Nicki Haley was the best electoral option for Republicans. Trump won sure, but she would have won by close to double digits. It was useless though because Trump was always the one who had the base.
I disagree but it also doesn’t matter—if you can’t win a democratic primary there’s no validity to an “but I would have won the general!” complaint. Having the support of party primary voters is required and they might not always select for GE efficiency. That’s OK.
December 8, 2025 at 11:48 PM
The people mad about Allred dropping out are leftists who were hoping Crockett and Allred could split the liberal vote and that James would sneak in that way. Some of the comments I'm seeing about Crockett makes me glad I'll never align with DSA and leftists. Some aren't different than what's on X.
December 8, 2025 at 11:18 PM
The same thing was said about Gallego and Slotkin. They both won their races. Maybe people in those states know what they want better than Bluesky posters.
We are now up to three total shitshow senate primaries (Texas, Michigan, and Maine).

Kirsten Gillibrand is the head of the DSCC and her literal job is to prevent this. but instead, she’s been spending her time criticizing Zohran. She needs to go, both as DSCC head and from the senate entirely imo
! Colin Allred is ENDING his Senate campaign and instead running for the House in Texas' redrawn 33rd congressional district.

There is no Republican I despise more than Hawley. His little game of talking like he supports working class and then voting for policies that go against it, is as fake as he his.

This should open up more resources for those rural districts DSA believe they can do better than Dems in. Oh wait, they never run candidates there, because they know they're full of shit.

MFs like this is how we got Trump. It's amazing how low info voters only pay attention to what they want to with Trump, but a Dem has to work overtime to appear impartial. Historians will be using this era as a prime example of what politicial ignorance in a population can do to a country.

Many immigrants, especially those from religious countries in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East hate LGBTQ+ people so much they will throw themselves under the bus for it. Dearborn and Hamtramck did the same thing with their conservative mayors.
