As a Retired Brigadier General, I never thought I’d see the day when members of Congress would block pay for our troops to score political points. But that’s exactly what Mike Johnson and Marjorie Taylor Greene’s party just did. This is not patriotic. It’s a disgrace.

MTG spent the past week discussing how healthcare is expensive. But in 2023, with a GOP Congress, she opposed a GOP-sponsored bill to help control health care costs. It passed Congress in a bipartisan fashion.

Keynote speaker Chuck Reese delivered a generous and thoughtful address, and we also heard from Elaina Beeman, Jason Esteves, Josh McLaurin, and Michelle Deatrick with the DNC.
