The Bucks are inexplicably built for the Cup!
Bucks shot 35-for-51 (69%) on 2-pointers & 20-for-34 (59%) on 3-pointers (including 10-for-10 from the corners) vs. the Hornets last night.

Their effective FG% of 76.5% was the 13th highest for any game in NBA history (highest in NBA Cup history).

Man, their imaginary Democratic Party sounds so much cooler than the one that actually exists
Johnson: "If they had no filibuster, they would pack the SCOTUS. You'd go from 9 to 17 or however many liberals they could pack. You would make DC & Puerto Rico into states, which would give 4 additional Democrat senators & make us a permanent minority. You'd see massive restrictions of 2A rights"

It's a small thing, but this is why it drives me crazy when people imply that it's stupid to have kids right now. If that's the case, what are we trying to do at all? Why not just lay down and die?
The Third Reich didn't last 1,000 years.

Pinochet was ousted with a referendum.

And the US isn't exactly dealing with the smartest, most competent fascists.

Those of you insisting that 2025 is forever need to read a book, touch grass, go to therapy, anything other than trying to make others quit.

I saw 8,000 articles describe Charlie Kirk as a beloved youth leader and it turns out—to the surprise of no one with a brain—that his approval numbers are negative until you get to ages 45+.

And that's despite the endless favorable coverage portraying him as white MLK.
2/ He's 35-36 unfavorable. His best demographics are:

75-5 Republicans
75-6 conservatives
75-7 Trump voters
42-33 men
43-35 65+
41-35 white voters

His worst are:

3-75 liberals
8-71 Harris voters
4-68 Democrats
13-40 black
24-45 18-29

Again, pretty obvious who the viewers were.

One of the wiser things I've seen in a while.
Wife to me after listening to my breathless, worthless 2 minute rant: Who is Ezra Klein? Who is Charlie Kirk? Honey I can't believe I'm saying this but you need to play more videogames and get off the internet

This! This! 1000x this!

Whenever people are like "Well, ChatGPT is great for writing cover letters," my response is that maybe cover letters aren't particularly useful.
one of the reasons so many productivity-enabling tech solutions suck is because they don't address the problem, they paper over it. yes! plenty of administrative writing is dull and bad, and not fun to compose or receive. but the fix is not to automate it and flood the world with more of it!

(1) I'd forgotten some of them and honestly they're all sick
(2) I've got some more in my notes app that I'm going to add now.
Recommended double-feature movie pairings:
