Democrats stop praising the fucking monster Ronald Reagan challenge
The presidency once served as a reminder of our common humanity. Ronald Reagan described its purpose as building "a nation composed of good and decent people."

God damn. What incredible guts this guy has.

I once took a bat away from a guy who was beating someone with it, and I can't imagine that I would have done this. Not from that distance, not having to slip through the cars.

Just a ridiculous act of heroism.

A deeply sad morning, with heartbreaking mass killings in Providence & Sydney.

Innocent students killed in a classroom. At least 11 people by gunmen at a Hanukkah celebration.

Too many guns here. Frightening levels of antisemitism globally. So much senseless violence & hate.

Intentionally killing innocent people is always wrong.

Wherever in the world it happens.

You might think everyone agrees with this simple moral principle, and yet far too many people, on far too many different sections of the political spectrum, try and make exceptions to it.

Two victims of previous school shootings — Mia Tretta, who was shot in the stomach in 2019 at Saugus High School, and Zoe Weissman, who survived the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School — are now at Brown. Gun violence is out of control in this country.

residents one town over from my library recently voted for a smaller budget override than the one they rejected in April, which raised the prospect of drastically cutting their library's services, threatening its state accreditation. i was looking at local news and i came upon this and screamed 📚

Trump is not only wrong and flat-out evil in his immigration policy, he's *deeply* in the negative in public polling on it. So yeah, sure, let's praise him on it now. Holy shit, man. Step down, @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social. You are not up to the challenge.
Jeffries: "The border is secure. That's a good thing. It happened on his watch. He wants to claim credit for it, of course he'll get credit for that. In terms of making sure that we actually deal with the issues that matter, including on immigration, there's a lot that's left to be desired."

I don't think they can say that which is why they don't. Some of them don't have a problem with what he is saying. The entire caucus should have been up in arms on their COLLEAGUE Ilhan Omar's behalf. They haven't been.
Every Democrat going on air should take the first question and then say something like “Before I answer that I need to express my outrage and disgust at the president’s bigoted and vulgar insults about the Somali people. There is something seriously wrong with him. He is a sick man.”

Berman fucking this up.
NEW: The Spirit came up with a multi-million dollar offer to keep Trinity Rodman in the league, which she was ready to accept. It was vetoed by NWSL commissioner Jessica Berman, according to sources.

Where's it leave negotiations? Great question. www.nytimes.com/athletic/686...
