People need to take into their head that computing as we understand It is going to go away in the very near future because the goal for most of the AI crowd is to make it so you cannot own your own computing power. You have to use their clouds. Making the creation of a peoples Internet a necessity
It's not too late for us to build a parallel internet that doesn't spy on us

You are absolutely shameless. You spent the past two years not only tolerating but supporting a genocide.

The rising number of casualties in Iran is horrifying. I unequivocally condemn the excessive use of force and continued restriction of freedom.

The European Union has already listed the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in its entirety under its human rights sanctions regime.

somewhat impressive testament to the addictiveness of social media that twitter is now a csam and non consensual porn site and a huge number of people haven't seriously considered that it's within their power to stop visiting it.

The thing is that, at this stage, seems that each and every large-scale player is either a mobster or is sufficiently self-assured by the amount of protection money doled out to feel safe (they aren't but will only find out too late to organize)

Bombing another nation & allegedly kidnapping its ruler - all openly admitted to be motivated by oil & Maduro's solidarity with Cuba - is not a "distraction" from Trump's crimes in the Epstein files. It is terroristic. They're not gonna hold him accountable, so you'll have to do that yourself.

The attack on Venuzela sovereignty is a straightforwardly condemnable act.

America is the thief of the world & the future. It is a bipartisan regime, built on indigenous blood & fueled by stolen oil. You pay taxes to rip apart countries for the sole benefit of CEOs & shareholders. Rip it up.

i feel like this is not actually very woke but i do believe that there being no ethical consumption under capitalism means you should reduce your consumption under capitalism, and that if you don't it is unethical. just what the sentence says, really.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Do you remember that meme awhile back of the guy asking someone on the street "you have to choose between universal healthcare and trans rights," and the guy said "both, I reject your premise."

That's the kind of thing all of us need to get comfortable with. Rejecting the premise.
Why decline all these chances to defend feminism? Because to participate would be accepting the premise that our rights and humanity are up for debate in the first place.

Once you’ve conceded that it’s reasonable to ask whether women’s equality was a mistake, you’ve already lost.
