in the US basically every car dealership has a large US flag on a flagpole on the property. went past one that was WAY bigger than the others and was confused, that can't be a car dealership, i thought. it was an rv dealership.

this is pretty much what happened to us poker players in 2011 when online poker was shut down and it was very cool seeing people make a bunch of weird shit cause they had nothing else to do
they didn't need AI to make Silksong, it just needed some deeply insane guys to have a blank check for living expenses until their next thing was done, I think we should try doing more of that instead

it is sort of unreal that we don't just all as a society agree to forget that luigi did anything. like, there are tv shows to watch or whatever. we all have better things to do than punish that guy for whatever it was he did or didn't do that i can't remember at this point.

i have made my slay the spire combat engine substantially worse by insisting that it needs an empty draw pile to play grand finale. i do feel a bit like the grinch.

it must be frustrating for all the people who worked doggedly to warn us all of the dangers of quicksand as children when we shrug it off like it isn't actually a big deal as adults. of course it feels like that. they were successful.
