Nothing will happen quickly. But with the BBC, important because it is utterly dominant in the news market, pumping out transphobia and misinformation and growing increasingly bold in doing both it is not easy to see how things get better and very easy to see how they get worse. Sorry but...

I imagine someone at @theguardian.com thinks this is funny as a campaign- it’s not. The lack of irony and self-reflection is quite something too, given how intolerant and appalling they have often been with regards to trans people - actively contributing to the ramping up of hate and misinformation.

"Britain’s persecution of trans people is not a reflection of an informed public demanding action. It is a reflection of a political and media establishment desperate to avoid scrutiny, eager to misdirect public anger, and entirely comfortable punching down when it suits them" 👏👏👏

The fact that four hostile drones tried to hit Zelenskyy’s plane & it’s barely a blip in the news cycle should terrify everyone. We’ve been dragged so deep into the chaos era that an attempted strike on a world leader doesn’t even break through. When this becomes normal, the world is in real danger.

It’s time to talk about my cat. To which you might be saying, “Chuck, I didn’t know you had a cat!” and I’d respond with, “I didn’t know I had a cat either…

On behalf of trans men everywhere: This blows. It is much worse to be included as women than excluded from women-only things. None of us want this.

It’s frightening that it only takes one sinister, undertaxed billionaire and a tiny minority can be so easily demonised and dehumanised. Maybe people will learn when it’s their turn to be on the receiving end of this. Of course it will be too late by them.

Ukraine Is Jamming Russia’s ‘Superweapon’ With a Song
A few years ago, Putin hyped the Kinzhal hypersonic missile. Now electronic warfare is knocking it out of the sky with music and some bad directions.

Many of the writers and staffers at the @guardian should actually read this and think about how they have contributed and supported this narrative.

More evidence that the "gender-critical" transphobes are working with fascists including Russia, Iran & Saudi Arabia. All countries where women are treated very badly.

"Gender-criticals" are not feminists & they do not "protect women"

They are trying to hold the COP 30 to ransom to be transphobic
Row over definition of ‘gender’ hangs over Cop30 plans to support women
Advocates say conservative states’ push to define gender as ‘biological sex’ would backslide on decade-old language within the UN

Very sad. RIP
Very sad news…

The incredible D’Angelo has died.

A pioneer of the neo-soul movement, he was 51.

His musical legacy continues to have a massive impact today.

This means that his son, Michael, has lost both his mother, Angie Stone, and his father within just a matter of months.
