Rose Docherty’s latest stunt arrest is a timely reminder that exactly 1 year ago, these men were outside the Glasgow Sandyford Centre, a clinic that offers services to rape survivors, calling women murderers. This was just before there buffer zones came into force. This was the abuse women endured.

I can’t imagine what these poor people have been through and I’m glad they are now free. And the off the scale retribution against innocent Palestinians is genocide. This can’t continue. The whole world needs to be invested in peace and Palestine needs aid and assistance to rebuild.

I did Mocking Bird but it wasn’t taught, I chose it as an option to write about. I did my reading review for higher English on ‘I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings’ and I will always remember it. I loved it. I was excited for ‘Go Set a Watchman’ read it and thought ‘wtf? 🙈

Also enjoyed ‘Catcher in the Rye’ and ‘The Great Gatsby’. ‘Tango Makes Three’ is a sweet little kid’s book about the true story of two boy penguins who look after an abandoned egg and raise the chick. book burners are unhinged.

I’m obsessed with the banned books staircase at Newport Public Library 📚 Some of my favourite books ever are here. Love ‘The Kite Runner’, ‘1984’, ‘I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings’, ‘Mockingbird’. Has anyone read any of these ‘stairs’?

From the bottom to the top, ‘I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings’, ‘and Tango makes three’, ‘The Kite Runner’, ‘The absolutely true story of a part time Indian’, ‘the bluest eye’, ‘catch 22’, ‘animal farm’, ‘cuckoo’s nest’, ‘Huckleberry Finn’, ‘Fun Home’, ‘The Hate U Give’, ‘of mice and men’, ‘Harry Potter,’, ‘Fahrenheit 451’, ‘to kill a mockingbird’, ‘1984’, ‘the great Gatsby’, ‘Invisible Man’, ‘The Catcher in the Rye’, ‘Speak’, ‘Looking for Alaska’. Can’t make out the two at the very top.
