Leftoids who call Joe Biden “Genocide Joe” are very stupid people who deserve to be ignored for all eternity.

There’s also a deep and massive history of various kinds of racial, gendered and other identities making their way into acceptance in America through and only insofar as they contribute to the project of empire. Which is a conversation few are ever ready for.

as someone who went through the "normal legal system" for immigration (and back in the halcyon days when INS still existed), can very much confirm.
The average Americans believes it's better "to come through the normal legal system" because the average American knows exactly ~dick~ about "the normal legal system."

And if any of those Average Americans (tm) were forced to go through it in order to move across State lines, they'd fucking riot.
Again, this is just bluesky folks misreading. The average American believes that it’s better for folks to come through the normal legal system rather than asylum process, because they view the asylum process as broken and chaotic! Folks who want more immigrants should want to support the popular…

All the abundance guys will trade a innumerable quantity of immigrant children for NEPA reform in a heartbeat and it’s genuinely hilarious
Obviously, we want more immigrants, it’s one of our founding principals, but we also don’t want things to happen that will set support for more immigration back in the long term

All that said, Twitter only allows editing in the 1st hour, so not easily done.

DC statehood now
These 20 House Democrats just joined Republicans in voting to fully repeal DC's police reform laws.

Wiping off the books critical laws on use of force, transparency, and preventing violent cops from getting rehired.

They think that they should have more say over DC police than the people of DC.

But, for the first time in months, I can feel the lingering presence of genuine optimism.

Terrorism, no other word for it. State sponsored terrorism
Borders Czar Tom Homan just announced he’s ramping up ICE operations in NYC.

Same playbook we’ve been seeing in LA, DC, Chicago & Charlotte. They aren’t hunting criminals, they’re targeting workers and people who are part of the community. Families. Neighbors. The people who keep the city running.

Here's the rub: the next government of the State of Israel will oppose any and all forms of Palestinian self determination. So will the next one. And the next one. What do you think should be done? If your answer is nothing then you are not my friend.

The Danish Social Democrats are currently on course for their worst election result since at least the Second World War, despite their brand of far-right accommodationism being touted as a blueprint for other centre-left parties.

three immediate thoughts about DIE MY LOVE:

1. Jennifer Lawrence is amazing. an absolute powerhouse performance.
2. this has maybe the best soundtrack of the year, certainly of the movies I've seen.
3. at the level of narrative, I don't really know what I just watched.
