There’s a reason I keep bringing up a Truth and Reconciliation commission after this administration comes to pass. The level of depravity is so great and so many people are complicit, that only a program of national amends could satisfy such a moment.
at this point the overwhelming majority of the Trump administration is going to have to be prosecuted for a mix of corruption, treason, and war crimes

This is a key point. Just because someone may or may not be given legal permission to live in a foreign country doesn’t mean they deserve to be mistreated or tortured. It doesn’t mean that kids deserve to be terrorized. It doesn’t mean Latinos deserve second-class citizenship.
