Conservatives aim to block not just abortion services but also discussions on women's reproductive rights in the House of Commons. This effort to silence debate reflects their intolerance, making it clear why Canadians should be concerned about a potential Conservative government. #NDP

Today's essential read for all Canadians.
Without tougher scrutiny by the news media and fiercer rebuttals by political opponents, Poilievre has no reason to change tactics. But with a federal election looming, it’s essential to put his blanket assertions finally to the test.

This is disgusting. Every person who works deserves a living wage. Canada post is not meant to turn a profit. It is meant to service Canadians. 🇨🇦

Laying off those who strike is a gross abuse of power.

✊ Support union workers. Not bosses.

When we talk about the role of the media in creating division and uplifting fascism, this is exactly what we mean.

At a time when media literacy is lacking in society, "innocent" stories like this push anti-union sentiment onto the masses.

This Canada Post strike is an existential one. Canada Post either treats their workers right, or Canada eventually loses its national postal services in a slow war of austerity that leaves the marginalized, especially in rural communities, in even greater isolation and distress.
