the krakoan age ended because israel's escalating genocide of palestinians made a comic book arc about a phony-progressive ethnostate too on the nose to publish

What's an opinion about X-Men that'll get you sent to jail? Is Jean really interesting or really boring? Should Logan have stayed dead? Do you think a certain x-mens outfit is positively horrendous even though people seem to love it?

The Brood Saga is better than Dark Phoenix imo 🤷

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."

even just the removal of the private system would be beneficial, as it just by existing undercuts the public one.

Whenever anarchism — or any idea more radical than the status quo — gets dismissed as unserious, it's worth remembering the current system runs on things like "we put all the money on a scam machine that tells rich dipshits they're god."

I don't think you understand what I wrote above. the petition does not force a referendum nor will any UCP MLAs have to have an uncomfortable vote on anything
jimstr.bsky.social
it seems unlikely to me that a UCP-controlled committee is going to recommend anything inconvenient for them!

I don't know about this—the government is not obligation to proceed with a referendum even if Lukaszuk gets all the signatures. Lukaszuk opted for the legislative policy route here, which if I'm reading the legislation right means this gets sent to committee kings-printer.alberta.ca/1266.cfm?pag...
