that's fair. obviously preferable if he had just not proposed this deal in the first place. I'm just saying that I don't mind if he screws it up.

perhaps, but I oppose the pipeline. I don't want to see masterful statecraft here. I want to see a mess and a failure. looks like we're on track.

my read is that he doesn't really care if the thing actually gets built... just wanted to get some of the cons off his back for a while. if the project Northern Gateways for a few years and then blows away like a fart, no problem.
