Again, turkeys are 70-80% off from today onwards and last a year in the freezer.

If you’ve got a chest freezer in the garage that’s good soup, stew, and smoker meat for the whole winter for a really good price.

Last year, right before we served the meal, my mom dropped the cooked mac and cheese on the ground and my sister then slipped in it, and tried to grab the counter for support, and put her hand in the just-out-of-the-oven stuffing instead.

Hoping for a similarly memorable but more calm day today.

Country is on the verge of become fascist while hemorrhaging money, resources,
and its integrity but the top 5 trillion dollar companies, all in the U.S., boast of record profits.

You don’t have to be a sleuth to figure this one out.

I got permission to share this, and I'm extremely grateful for that.

The Onion got this letter from one of our subscribers in Alaska. She works with dementia patients and decided to leave a copy in the car for each one.

This email made my year. Read it and you'll see what I mean. People are good.

Omg. It’s her epic poem. Y’all, Olivia Nuzzi thinks she wrote The Odyssey.
worst forest/trees problem in generations is that a canto is A SECTION OF A LONG POEM. THAT'S IT. YOU DIDN'T WRITE A CANTO BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT THE WORD LOOKED COOL ON YOUR MEMOIR. CANTOS ARE POEMS. THAT LANGUAGE IS DYNAMIC DOES NOT MAKE YOUR SLAMBOOK A CANTO AMERICAN OR OTHERWISE

So. Can any of us look at our colleagues in the political press corps of Washington/New York and say, with a straight face, that none of *them* would do this? That none of them would hold important stuff back to their own benefit? Throw sources over to cultivate bigger ones? Fuck a subject?

And of course, if Lizza *isn't* lying, then Nuzzi has broken every concievable ethical rule in journalism: fucking subjects, freelancing PR work, betraying sources, running catch and kill ops, all while pretending to be an objective writer. It is an absolutely jaw dropping level of corruption

Reuters reached out to everyone that Trump or his subordinates singled out publicly for retribution, and reviewed hundreds of official orders, directives and public records. The result: the most comprehensive accounting yet of his campaign of payback.

Wow. I have spent so much time and money here. Truly feels like a betrayal.

@petebuttigieg.bsky.social, this “pick me gay” stuff is so damned embarrassing.

Republicans will absolutely fuck you over, and not in the party bottom way.
We all believe in improving efficiency, and a team genuinely focused on that could do a world of good.

But the DOGE we could have had is a far cry from the DOGE we actually got.

At this point, I wonder if he isn't lying when he says he has "my highest Poll Numbers, ever" since it's entirely possible that's what his aides are telling him. It's quite likely that there's an entire Potemkin village built around Trump right now.

What an exhausting pos this guy has been. Won’t regret his date with the worms one bit.
Now we have the president calling a female New York Times reporter ugly because he's mad about a story she wrote.
