people can transition, should transition, and successfully have transitioned for completely frivolous reasons. this does not make them tourists, it means they answer to a god whose language neither you nor they speak. they should command more rather than less respect for it
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Ok I'm glad the Wuthering Heights adaptation seems to be postmodern with lots of anachronism for drama's sake, I bet at least two Brontes would be so into it

I do not want to “Do my own research.” I want to pay trained accredited experts to do the research, trained accredited experts to report on findings, and trained accredited experts to make policy based on them.

I am busy af with my own job, I don’t need to do eight zillion more.

3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.

2 weeks later they rescinded the offer due to “headcount issues”.

From this minister's op-ed: "People wanting to experience God are more likely to meet the Divine trying to shut down the Broadview, Illinois, ICE facility than we ever were in church...God does not live in our houses of worship, but...with those who are bearing the brunt of cruelty in this moment."

So in the 1660s and 1670s, Leibniz had this idea for a "Characteristica universalis": "a theoretical, universal symbolic language designed to represent all knowledge, making philosophical and scientific reasoning as precise and unambiguous as mathematics."
