There is literally no better example of textbook fascistic thinking than "Who cares about human rights when the rich are doing so very well"
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

"Here, finally, is a worthy use of the NIMBY impulse that is so easy to activate for worse reasons." Friends, you can use that. I highly recommend going full Karen for the right reasons.
When I got the contract to write a history of concentration camps in 2014, I hoped to keep the US from ending up here. That didn't work out! But now it's critical to understand how much is already in process and the enormity of what's coming. The sooner we act to stop it, the more people we'll save.

“We cannot just abolish ICE!”

Bestie, you are older than ICE.

It may be far too early to start vegetables…

But it’s never too early to start sowing

YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

Happy (early) Valentine’s! Or something !
Today, I stuck seeds in soil and put them in my windowsill.

“But Ursula!” you say. “It is far too early to start vegetables!”

You are correct. We are now trying to fake out a native juniper.

The fight between staying informed but wanting to mute this mother fucking dude’s name because every story shows his smug-ass face which needs to be beat to a pulp.

(it’s not a threat if he’s already dead, right?)

this is incredibly frustrating. By framing this as a policy demand Dems are aiding a disinformation campaign that is intended to confuse the public about what is constitutionally required.
This is literally what CURRENT LAW requires. It’s in the Constitution! www.politico.com/news/2026/02...

Amazing news!

I hate when they do this. Play the clip! Why are you asking these questions without the footage on hand? Bitch, we are ALL going to watch together so I can get your first impression then!
THANEDAR: What did your ICE agent mean when he said, 'you raise your voice, I erase your voice' in the video all of us have seen?

couldn't happen to a more deserving invasive surveillance product, TBH
have never seen popular public opinion shift so fast about a surveillance product than the fallout from ring's super bowl "search party" ad. they'll teach this in advertising courses one day. chef's kiss baby www.404media.co/with-ring-am...
With Ring, American Consumers Built a Surveillance Dragnet
Ring's 'Search Party' is dystopian surveillance accelerationism.

I just wrote “there are” as “thare” and it only bothers me because at the very least that should have been “th’are” if I’m gonna go and make up new contractions.

Ok, you can stop texting me, I saw the Ring ad. Troubling things about it 🧵:

-The long awaited (much warned about) intro of “AI” recognition. It starts w/ searching for a “brown dog” but means the tech is there for lisence plate reading, face recognition, searching for suspects by description, etc

Benito is a threat b/c he makes art so alluring and enjoyable you want to understand everything about it and then you end up learning about sugar and slavery and colonialism and the Taínos and Hawaii and then you probably have some thoughts of your own, and that's why art is powerful and dangerous
