If YourParty doesn’t even allow a member of a marginalized minority to name the discrimination they are subject to, that is not socialism.

Socialism means supporting the most disadvantaged and the poorest, not taking sides with bigots.

That is fascism.
The delegate at the YourParty Conference who was censured by the chair for using the word “transphobia” is trans.

This is EVEN worse than Labour, a trans person can’t even call out transphobia! Ridic.

I expect every news platform, plus every “free speech” campaigner to be up in arms about this…

After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

The thing about fansubs is regardless of anything else that may be going on, ultimately fansubs are made by someone who *really cares about what they're making*. That actually was true at one time at Crunchyroll. It is not true now.

there's nothing the kinda little dick guys who put their military background in their bio love more than finding someone (ideally a minority or especially a woman) saying 'sure seems like it was a bad idea to volunteer for a fascist organization if you oppose its agenda' and just start crying
Yeah you’re right we should abolish the military

The technology to do text to speech audio like this has existed for years, but it's always required a lot of human effort. It still requires a performance, just indirectly. The AI companies have convinced other companies they have removed the need for performance. They extremely have not lmfao.
The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.

The additional context is that Valve is still killing a beloved games studio, still tried to weasel out of making a press statement, still didn't allow a second review, and still did not communicate with the developer beyond vague references to their terms.

It's a shame she followed illegal orders. This is a good lesson for other military members. She would be alive today.
Sarah Beckstrom's ex-boyfriend told NBC News she dreamed of becoming an FBI special agent.

She didn't want to deploy to D.C.

"She hated it. She cried about it."

But she started visiting monuments and museums and started enjoying it.

May she rest in peace.

in a similar way that no genre of fiction hates men more than cishet romance… it’s equally true that cishet society hates men in more creative ways than i, a tranny dyke, could ever even dream of hating men.

at least when i think men are evil it’s because it’s a choice—not an intrinsic feature

Saw someone act like lesbian books typically depict all men as terrible and I'm struggling to think of any examples tbh. Majority of lesbian books are very respectability politics, very not-all-men, tsk tsk you wouldn't want to be a misandrist harpy now would you. They have a bunch of nice men.

I still listen to tracks from Let it Die. Literally the only memorable thing about the game.

If you're so intent on skipping anything interesting about development, why not just skip to three months after release and delist your game now.
The original Let It Die was famous for its absolutely amazing soundtrack. Akira Yamaoka went and got in touch with a HUNDRED of his favourite indie bands and commissioned each to do a track named 'let it die'. The result was borderline mystical.

They're AI-generating the music here.

Fuck that.
The Let it Die sequel - Let it Die: Inferno - which is coming out next week (4th December), seems to have been built using a considerable amount of generative AI. https://bit.ly/4ol7lIA
