Yesterday I saw someone ask if increasing Strength in Elden Ring is “broken.”
One is the annoying things with the difficulty discussion around Souls games is that they HAVE diegetic difficulty relief valves and the fandom pretends they're like an accident
Fromsoft players are like... damaged. Speaking as someone who loves the games, the community is insufferable in their attitude that the game has a "right" way to be played. (Probably born from the "Its so hard!" circle jerk early coverage/marketing of DS1 spawned)

Nah. I adopted that phrase after about ten thousand attempts to educate only to realize when people ask those kinds of questions, it’s immediately evident whether they’re asking in good faith. They’re almost never. They just want you to make a point to refute and waste your time.
the phrase "its not my job to educate you" has done insane damage to the trans liberation movement btw
