Yes it’s important to call out Trump’s bad behavior, but I wish we could do so without posting a HUGE WALL OF TEXT with his words and even his picture on it. I’ve seen it dozens of times now.

There’s not even a way to block it by keywords because it’s a picture.

Any ideas on how to post no-pic?

Personally I don’t want ICE bullying anyone, whether we are citizens, permanent residents, visa holders, or undocumented people.

Some folks still think “illegals” are the real issue and say it’s not about racism. If brown people get bullied regardless of status, it’s racism. Clear as it can be.
One citizen said that federal agents in Idaho pointed guns at her children, ages 6 and 8, and dragged her 14-year-old daughter out of a truck and zip-tied her.

The mother told investigators that an agent threatened to “fucking blow your head off.”

Republicans have tried to repeal the ACA over 70 times over the last 15 years. They've had 15 years to come up with a replacement plan.

15 years later? They have no plan.

And today they voted to spike healthcare premiums for over half a million Michiganders.

Took a while but Dems seem to finally understand that unilateral disarmament is bad
Important: Maryland senate leader refuses to redistrict to counter Trump/GOP, but Rep Jamie Raskin says if Indiana GOPers move, MD must act:

"There’s nothing ethical or moral about unilaterally disarming before authoritarians in a game they’ve created."

Remigration is ethnic cleansing, which is a crime against humanity and a form of genocide.

That is what the regime is signaling. That is what it is wants.
They're not even bothering to disguise their real aims any longer.

Pointing out that something is incorrect definitely isn't sufficient - the *culture* of "it is bad to make incorrect statements, good to promptly and clearly retract and apologize for them, and disqualifying to keep making them deliberately" is the framework needed for fact-checking to plug into.

Holiday sales make up 20% of corporate profits. From now through Cyber Monday, we’re taking a 5% bite back by boycotting Target, Home Depot, and Amazon for unsafe working conditions, cutting DEI, and letting ICE target our neighbors. Join us in saying #WeAintBuyingIt!

We're not shopping at Target, Home Depot, or Amazon this Thanksgiving weekend 🚫. We're so over corporations that back the admins policies, cave to anti-DEI pressure, let ICE terrorize our communities, and chase tax breaks while people go hungry. #WeAintBuyingIt

I am not sure why people seem surprised that undocumented workers are often people who have been in their communities for years or decades. But it could be because people assume the rules for immigration are reasonable and just. We assume there is a path to green card and citizen. There isn’t.

We talk of refusing unlawful orders, but really that's a very high bar. It's only for orders that are manifestly unlawful, something *obviously* illegal on the face of it. And the core example of that is refusing an order to wantonly murder noncombatants, which is exactly what they are doing.
Oddly enough, in media coverage of Dems' video warning against carrying out illegal orders, there's very little discussion of *whether it's actually reasonable to fear Trump is giving illegal commands or not.*

The evidence is strong that he is. Media should say so:

Sargent is right, Trump and Hegseth are lying about sedition to distract and discredit the messengers. Stay on point. This should be about illegal orders. They have happened. They will keep happening.
MAGA dimwit Pete Hegseth thinks he's pleasing the Audience of One by "fighting back" but all he's doing is drawing more attention to the question of whether Trump is issuing illegal orders, which was the whole point of the Dem video in the first place.

Here’s a handy guide to how to publish your videos with different aspect ratio:

Wide videos: Publish it like that
Tall videos: Publish it like that
Square videos: Publish it like that

YOU DON’T HAVE TO PUT STUPID FRAMES AROUND VIDEOS! All the sites you post videos on are fine with them, any size!

I understand the reasoning behind zeroing in on ICE & DHS abducting citizens. But when you lead with what's perceived as your most sympathetic cases, you cede the moral high ground & make arguing for others harder. It is wrong for armed, masked gestapo to grab people - doesn't matter their status.

Also, it’s exactly backwards. The reason we have identity politics in America is because individuals are
segregated into groups then systematically excluded/deprived of rights based upon their “membership.” Identity politics is rooted in structural economic, social, and political realities.
